[REVIEW] Maybelline : Clean Express Miracle Water


Hello! Last month I can't post as much as I do but I hope this month I can post more because I don't have go to school until 27th July yeay ~~
This time review is about makeup remover, I remember my first time when I try to wear makeup I just trying to remove all of my makeup using the usual face wash, so that's why my eyeliner and foundation and etc is still stay on my face even after I washed them so many times.

 The makeup remover I'm using lately is from Maybelline, a well known brand with affordable price. Maybe this product is already so tomorrow in other country. This makeup remover is the newest makeup remover from Maybelline which released in Indonesia, actually not really new this released last year but some people said this still hard to get.

The packaging is almost looks same like Maybelline Total Clean Express Eye & Lip Makeup Remover, what make it different is the bottle color in the cap. In my opinion this is travel friendly since it made from plastic.

AQUA/WATER, HEXYLENE, GLYCOL, GLYCERIN, POLOXAMER 184, DISODIUM COCOAMPHODIACETATE, DISODIUM EDTA, PANTHENOL, POLYAMINOPROPYL BIGUANIDE

Rp 50000 (less than 5USD)

How to use:
Soak a cotton pad and apply on whole face

Performance:
So I don't show you swatch on my hand when trying to remove makeup because the picture won't do justice. I don't smell something weird from this. As written on the back of bottle this product is to removes light makeup, yeah only can remove light makeup. I try to remove my eyeliner which I reviewed here, and that product is well known for easily smudging but when I try to remove the eyeliner using this product it won't budge at all, I need extra effort to remove the eyeliner. You will also waste many times if you removing your bb cream and powder with this product. So what kind of light makeup can be easily removed with this product? Lemme say is just a basic makeup like what I wrote here. It leaves a fresh feeling after removing the makeup, but not the best fresh feeling I ever feel from a makeup remover. It leaves my skin matte but not a dead matte result, and my skin still feel hydrates. However I think this product is more better to work as toner.

What I like :
+ Affordable price
+ Good packaging
+ Doesn't have weird scent
+ Hydrates skin

What I dislike :
- Only works to remove light makeup, seriously only light makeup.
- Can't easily remove waterproof and smudgeproof makeup
- Sting my eyes
- Not give me a super good fresh feeling after using

    Suka deh sama warna packagingnya, biru-biru gitu keliatan seger yah. hihi. Tapi hasilnya kok agak mengecewakan yah? Penasaran ah mau cobain juga, kalo emang gak bisa ngapus yang berat-berat dialihkan fungsi jadi toner aja kaya yang kamu bilang. hehe

      iya, heran aja ya masa waktu ngapus eyeliner gelnya silkygirl harus di usek2 banget kalau gak, gak ada perubahan sama sekali -__-

    I had no idea that Maybelline had a micellar water. I really hope they launch it in the UK at some point. I hope they improve the formula so it takes off at least eyeliner... Lovely and honest review...xx

    I feel like these watery makeup removers never work as well for my face which is why I'd rather use wipes or cleansing oil instead because those work perfectly. Thanks for the review though :)
