[REVIEW] Wet n Wild : Megalast Lipcolor – 919B Vamp It Up/Style Vamp
I never have lipstick with extreme color (blue, black, yellow, green, etc) before. I’m rarely wearing lipstick, even I have plenty of them I only use it in special occasion. What I often use maybe only 2 or 3 lipstick.
I saw this baby in onlineshop, actually I was fall in love with Bare It All color but it already soldout the moment I place my order. Don’t know the reason why then I bought this one. Never own make up from Wet n Wild brand before. Without thinking more, I’m still decided to buy it.
So after this baby arrived safely in my home. I just store them in my make up case. After a few days later, I’m browsing the review. And found many people said this one is a dupe for MAC cyber.
Well, I just realised it when I write this post is already autumn in most of country and hey yeah halloween is getting near. So I think this product is good for this season, and can be your recommendation for halloween party!

Packaging:
I’m in love-hate with the packaging. Because I can see the color, it is good if you have many color from this series. But the cap falls off easily and lipstick tends to get all over the cap, make it look dirty.
Texture:
Goes on with one swipe, but you need to swipe more to get the color like in the bottom packaging.
Picture taken midday, under natural lighting. It looks much darker in natural room lighting.
What I like:
☺Inexpensive
☺Semi-matte finish
☺Really opaque color
☺Goes on with one swipe
What I dislike:
☹ Dry my lips, well only a bit
☹ The cap falls off easily
So, overall it would be better apply lipbalm first before use this lipstick. Cause this one will make your lips dry, just as most matte lipstick. The color is really a dark purple almost black and it longlasting as you don’t eat or drink. It’s not a big problem for me, because we girl always have time to touch up, right? This shade is really rare for drugstore product in here, I think. This lipstick is really great overall. Definitely will purchase other shade from Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color! Pssst I really want to collect all of them.

ReplyDeleteooh, I love this new color. I've been looking for a cyber dupe, so this came at the right time. I agree that you should use lip balm first, I currently use the Sugar Plum Fairy, and I never use it without lip balm.
