[REVIEW] Silky Girl : BB Brightening 2 Way Foundation - 04 TanWednesday, March 18, 2015
This time is review of one of Silky Girl product, BB Brightening 2 Way Foundation in shade Tan. This one is BB in compact powder type, and also foundation in one. I bought this last year on July, but because Maybelline new compact powder (review here) also catched my attention, I’m stop using this and now I’m using this again since beginning of February. Silky Girl is Malaysian brand, their product market is targeted for teenager and early-adult.

This product comes with box full of information and the powder case is comes in purple-pinkish color, price is under $5. Inside the case there is a mirror inside, also comes with white colored sponge but I already throw the sponge because is already dirty enough and I’m too lazy to wash it again. I have nothing to complain from the packaging, actually my reason when buy this was because the purple-ish color, I’m a sucker for purple color.
Available in 4 shades. This Tan shade is have yellow undertone and not looks as dark as in the pan. Sometimes this perfectly match my skin tone, but sometimes it looks too fair for my skin, I don’t know what’s wrong. When using this I don’t smell anything from this powder. This BB Brightening 2 Way Foundation can gives light until full coverage, yes you are not reading it wrong, it can give you full coverage. With damped sponge apply the powder to gives you full coverage, and use dry sponge to gives you light coverage. Lately I’m using this for every day but I prefer applying using brush, because when I use damped sponge it gives full coverage but looks cakey. For the oil control it’s only last about 3 hours, quite short. Another bad side from this product is I feel like it clogs pores, because I can see my blackhead is increased after using this product.
What I like :
+ Affordable Price
+ Fragrance Free
+ Can gives full coverage
What I dislike :
- Clogs pores
- Bad Oil Control
